You can create up to 10 cron jobs, running up to every five minutes. When the time matches your criteria, SetCronJob will call the URL given (script in PHP, ASP, JSP, etc, backup your files, databases, clear temporary files, send newsletters, etc).

- OnlineCronJobs – http://onlinecronjobs.com/
The purpose of this website is to allow website administrators without cronjob service on their own host, run cronjobs.

- CronMe – http://www.cronme.org/
Free web cron service is that enables you to setup your own crontabs with web interface and lets you to execute any URL on specified time/date.

- CronJobs.org – http://www.cronjobs.org/
The easy way to execute automatic tasks on your website.

- CronLess – http://www.cronless.com/
Cronless is a free cron job service. We provide free access to a simulated linux cron job, it does the same thing, just in a safer and easier method.

You can now safely manage your FTP server with BossFTP (a web based FTP site) through HTTPS version online at https://ssl.bossftp.com/. Please note that there’s a ‘s’ char after http

Good:
- It’s no need to install anything on your PC,
- All you need is a web browser,
- Fast: all tasks are done by web server and FTP server,
- Easy to use: it looks like you’re browsing a web, not a FTP server,
- Simple: Most web FTP has a WYSIWYG user interface.

And bad:
- No safe: your password is flying through the internet, and the website’s owner can be a bad guy
-  Can’t manipulate local files:  because it’s running on the web, so you can’t manage your local files on PC.

This is a list of web ftp that I knew and found from internet, sorted by alphabet:

- BossFTP (http://www.bossftp.com/): support most FTP commands, simple, fast, easy to use.

- F->IT: (https://fit.jupiterit.com/): simple, fast, easy to use, support basic FTP commands, like a code editor based on web, safer with https, open source.

- FTPLive (http://www.ftplive.com/ftp.html): simple, fast, easy to use, support basic FTP commands.

- Net2FTP (http://www.net2ftp.com/): support most FTP commands, simple, easy to use, but not fast (everything is form ), open source.

- phpWebFTP (http://phpwebftp.com/demo40/index.php): support most FTP commands, simple, fast, easy to use (has the Windows Explore user-interface), open source.

- And Web2FTP, (http://www.web2ftp.com/), but now deactivated, so I can’t try it. I’m waiting for the return of this site.

And a lot of, yes, so many web FTP sites, but was not mentioned here: They’re using the Net2FTP source code, and some removed the ‘Powered by Net2FTP’ line In short, all of them are useless.

Personally, I use Net2FTP, BossFTP, phpWebFTP, which are good enough for me.

About BossFTP: It’s a FTP client running on the web

To search:
- Visit www.bossftp.com,
- Enter FTP server, username, password and login,
- On the line “In this folder“, click Search.

You can search a file by: (a part of) name, type, size, mode, location.

After searching, you can: chmod, delete, calculate file size, edit, zip, unzip, etc.

- Search for file contains ‘header’ in folder “/public_html/blog”:

With BossFTP, you can:

Feature:

• Work underground: BossFTP will work until the long and heavy tasks completed or max execution time exceeded. BossFTP will make a report in report file.
• @w3: Your FTP server / web server must support PHP script. BossFTP upload a .php file as @w3 path, and then call @w3 url, and your web server will run that script. This feature is used to W3Download, Upload (only extract), Chmod, Delete, Zip, Duplicate, Multi Zip, Extract.
• Edit FTP info: Click Option to re-enter your FTP info (FTP Server, user name, password,…). For security purpose, BossFTP won’t display the original password. If you don’t re-enter the password, the old password saved in your PC will be used.
• On-the-fly data compression: This is an extension of FTP. It will compress data before sending it to FTP client, so you can get a 3 – 4 times higher speed! NOTE: not all FTP server support this, and I don’t say whether it is available or not. But you can try it! Read more.

Some notes:

• Click on “Login now!” button to test my demo FTP server.
• If you enter the new FTP information and click “Login now!”, the old information will be overwritten.
• To log out, click on “Logout” or close all browser windows.
• Always be patient, some tasks can take minutes to complete.
• BossFTP was developed to serve someone who is using free web hosting with a poor File Manager, but if you love BossFTP, feel free to use it as your real File Manager.
  Important: I recommended that you create a new FTP account to use with BossFTP, not use the root account.

• Max file size: 500KB (zip one file, download);
• Max file size for edit and save: 100KB;
• Max RAW / SITE commands: 50;
• Max execution time: 5 min (all).
